Why is my vox V847 wah pedal not working properly?
I havn't used it in about a week and today i came back and it wasn't working at all. I changed the battery in it and i can now hear a very very quiet sound coming from the amp and that is it. I also checked all the connections and made sure that it was in fact the wah pedal that wasn't working.
I also checked my Digitech RP50 to see if that was the problem but it works fine also.
My amp is a Marshall MG30FX if this helps at all.

Make sure battery is new and clipped onto battery tab securely. Make absolutely sure that all cables are working and plugged into the correct side. (guitar goes into right side). Make sure that the input jacks are solid and that the cable "clicks" into position. (occasionally, the cable gets stepped on and damages the input or output jack). If all else fails, take it into your local music store and let them diagnose it for you.
Keep in mind; the pedal is turned on when you plug the cable into the input side. The act of plugging it in turns the battery on, so if you leave it plugged in the battery will drain.
